Shirley Jones Loves my Crab Cakes!

Yes, Virginia ... there is a Goddess and her name is Shirley Jones!
I had the opportunity to meet Miss Jones at White Marsh Boscov Grand Opening this past week and after witnessing a phenominal show by Miss Jones, asked if I could bring her true Maryland crab cakes to enjoy! I put together a platter for herself and entourage to enjoy and stopped by the next night to get the feedback.
Miss Jones was so sweet and gracious along with asking me if I ship to California ... WOO HOO!
A big thank you also to Grace, the PR director of Boscov WM!


That's Mom and me when we dropped off the crab cakes and Shirley signing my CD along with a big thanks from Miss Jones for the delicious food ... "best crab cakes I've ever had!"
Foula took the pic of us together and I think even she was proud of her Chef!
Can't wait to send Miss Jones other treats to taste and enjoy in Sunny CALI!

A week I will never forget and hopefully the beginning of a fruitful (and seafood-ful) friendship!

PS - wanted to go back Saturday but didn't want to appear like a stalker! I really just loved hearing a legend in action! Reminded me of RCMH in NYC and seeing Ginger Rogers in 1980! Two woman both with Academy Awards - can't get any better than meeting both ladies in my life! I am blessed.

Updates and all!

I have been playing with themed weekends again ~ Spanish, Crab, Lobster, French , all with rave reviews!
This weekend is Seafood ~ fish, crab, shrimp, clams and more! Come in and SEA what we do with FOOD.

   Working on a band appearance and karaoke!
   Ladies Nights (yes two a week! - Sunday and Thursdays) will feature 1/2 price wine selection and low priced apps! Nice to get out and meet with friends, crack open a low priced bottle and chat!

Restaurant Week is coming up 8/10-31st! Come on in for a 3 course $20.12 Lunch and a 4 course $35.12 Dinner!

One more thing - thanks for your support and positive feedback during a hot summer and a cool economy!

Grateful to RAM!

As of June 13th, I am officially a member of the Board of Directors of RAM, the Restaurant Association of Maryland. Woo Hoo!
The organization plays a huge role in helping restaurants and culinary based businesses be the best they can be so in turn they can bring the best they can to our communities! A win win for everyone!

So , again thank you RAM for this honor and I will certainly do my best!

We had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend .... Thanks to everyone that ordered platters to go for the celebration Monday! Patrick's is quickly becoming the new local spot to pick up good food fast!

Here is the news!

  • We are closed Wednesday July 4th but again - we are available to cater to your needs, platters, wings, salads, soups, desserts - you name it, we'll do it!
  • Themed Weekends have returned! This weekend is Chesapeake ~ a crab festival! Followed by Spanish Weekend (7/6-8) and more to include Lobsterfest, Salad-arama, Local Produce, Fish Fish Fish .... will post everyweek on Patrick's homepage!
  • $5 Bar Menu and DAILY Happy Hours (4-7pm)

Spring is here!

I had high hopes for this blog but considering I seem to do this once a month, I am not being true to the purpose ~ to update you with news and recipes. Will give it another shot!



  • Mother's Day is Sunday 5/13! Come out and celebrate this special day with your Mom and family!

  • SOFT SHELLS have arrived! Platter (1 crab) or Dinner ( 2 crabs) or even add a crab to another entree!

  • Spanish Weekend is May 20th!

  • Late Bird specials available Fri & Sat nites from 8:30 until 10pm!

  • Bar $5 menu and Orioles Menu (whenever we have any game on the plasma!) at the bar!

  • Sangria is flowing ~ come and enjoy a pitcher of the luscious red or light & fruity white Sangria ... don't forget the bubbly champagne sangria!

  • Restaurant Week Menu available every nite - 4-course meal for $35.12!
